Lockdown has caused spike in sugars.. can anyone else help!??

I let my pump do all the calculations for me :). Still work it out in my head to get a rough figure in my head before I press the give bolus button :) The Miaomiao is an add-on to turn the Libre into a CGM with alarms when used with a 3rd party app.

Limit of hypos for the provisional driving licence applications?

The Libre is notoriously inaccurate below 4 and above 10. Your lows during the night could possibly be compression lows but you have no way to prove that to your team as you are not finger pricking. Good luck with your license

Limit of hypos for the provisional driving licence applications?

If your medical team are telling you to do that to get your license then thats what you will have to do. Do you do regular finger prick tests as well? Maybe upload that as well? Just a thought

Lockdown has caused spike in sugars.. can anyone else help!??

Do you totally rely on your Libre? Below 4 and above 10 they are very unreliable. I use the Miaomiao and xdrip+ and am able to calibrate it once daily. I still finger prick 3 times a day minimum BUT I will and often do bolus from the reading off Xdrip+

Lockdown has caused spike in sugars.. can anyone else help!??

Hi @Oxyinnes and welcome to the forum My basal rates have been up and down for a while now, one day I get everything spot on, the next I am no where near (oh the joys of T1D). The past few days I have been getting DP.....As you are more than aware after 10 years you can do the same thing day...

    T1 tech

Do you really believe that? After using Clinitest tablets (which gave no real indication of what your actual levels were) and needles the size of darning needles and glass and metal syringes. It is countless times easier now. Yes it still has its daily struggles BUT we now now what our actual...

    Glucomen Day CGM

@Beetroot2020 I am hypo unaware and use the Libre along with the previously mentioned Miaomiao. I can set alarms (with Xdrip) for lows and highs. Calibrate it once a day and it is fairly accurate most of the times. I still finger prick when above 10 or below 4 to check

Covid and Work, Covid Advice and General Chat

I was furloughed for 9 weeks, longest 9 weeks of my life. I work in a very busy garage as a receptionist. Keys are wiped with anti-bac when handed to me, regular anti-bac wipe down of the surfaces and regular hand washing....I don't in any way feel at risk.

How are continuous glucose sensors inserted?

:hilarious: that hurt a LOT more than the Libre insertion. I too was that little brother

How are continuous glucose sensors inserted?

Haha. I think we have all done that! I hate needles even after 49 years of T1D. BUT it did not hurt at all. Been on the Libre for nigh on 2 years and only had one painful insertion
