Just been to my GP for a full blood count test. My DSN appnt for October has been cancelled. Was told I would be having one in November (hopefully) as I am awaiting to be put on the Medtronic Guardian sensors - again HOPEFULLY :)

Unless the pump is approved by your diabetic team you will not get funding for supplies sorry to say. Do you meet the criteria for an insulin pump? What are your specific needs to have one?

Same here. When I was on MDI I used to change the needle when I changed the pens....until I saw the pic :)

I was always told to pinch on injecting.....mind you I am 49 years in and had to use mahoosive needles when I started

@KK123 I know the picture you are on about. It isn't actually true BUT the needle does goes blunt pretty quickly.

Do you change needles every time you inject??

@Tony337 The MM2 has a small battery life. The MM1 battery lasts for around 4 weeks. AND the MM1 is cheaper

They are not massivly strong BUT you do feel them. I sleep like a log and they do not wake me up.....mind you if an elephant walked over me I would sleep through that. I will say they are strong enough to be felt :) AND the watch is standalone
