    Teenage mistakes

Stay positive and you will have a happy ending! I wouldn't waste time and energy making any more mistakes. They'll happen themselves whether you want them to or not. Instead use your time and energy in a positive way, to reach for your goals and make that happy ending happen. Personally, I...

    Only a self-pitying moan

Oh Angie, it felt like I was reading my own post! Just add a packet of jaffa cakes, 1/2 packet of choc digestives, 1 choc ice and a handful of pringles to that list of naughty food, on my behalf. Oh yes and about 6 choc chip cookies   (I don't think there's enough  to cover...

    I was stupid!

Well done Craig on your dramatic turnaround. That's a great result and, chocolate being my weakness too, I know how hard it is for you. Keep up the good work (and try aldi's moser roth 85% chocolate-it's enough to satisfy a craving, most of the time  )

    stress induced T2 ?

This post made me think! I came through a really stressful time prior to diagnosis but never thought about there being any connection, other than the ludicrous amount of chocolate I was eating for comfort!

    Some sad news

So sorry Hal. My thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time. I hope the hospital is able to give you answers that will help you with your grief.

    Chocolate

My favourite topic :D I buy Aldi's 85% cocoa chocolate (Moser Roth). A packet cost 99p and there are 5 bars in a packet. Each bar has only 5g carbs. I allow myself one bar per day (two on a bad day!)

    Where in the world.......

I'm in Hamilton (near Glasgow) in Scotland. Moved to Fife area in Scotland in 1989 after getting married but was homesick and returned to Hamilton in 1994, the year after my daughter was born. Pretty boring compared to others but I'm a home bird!

    HbA1c Result

Well done Didie    That's brilliant news. You should be so chuffed with yourself. You'll get lower for the next time, I'm sure of that. Just be happy with this result and give yourself a big pat on the back. You deserve it. You have done so well over the past year. You...

    Good night

I find all this too confusing :? Can't we all just go back to the way it was-a nice, friendly, helpful forum full of lovely, kind people. Or should I just take my rose tinted glasses off.

    Peebles post

I was surprised too. I read back her previous posts and there was nothing untoward in them. They seemed perfectly normal and reasonable. This latest does seem to be out of character. Maybe one of the mods could e-mail her just to check it is her that is posting. I would hate to think that...

    RECOGNITION AWARD

Re: DIDIE RECOGNITION AWARD  Why don't we have an award ceremony at Grazer's party (see alcohol thread for details)? I'm sure Mrs Grazer wouldn't mind.

    Good night

Glados +1  Pebbles 22, nobody is forcing you to join the forum or read any posts if you don't want to. It's a free world. If you don't like it then don't stay. It's like TV-if you don't want to watch something then turn it off, don't moan about it.

Re: DIDIE RECOGNITION AWARD I salute them all!!   It's so good to know that there are such honest, decent people in the world when all you ever hear about are the bad. (Oh and the stupid one like me who read the posts and never noticed   )

    RECOGNITION AWARD

This is the only forum I have ever been part of so I am unsure of the right protocol. I just want some sort of recognition for the quick thinking and alertness of several of our members. Their actions managed to avoid the unthinkable happening! I always assumed that the "weirdos" would stick...
