    leg cramp

I had really bad cramp in my leg about 5 this morning. I assume this is due to lack of salt. What is the best way to stop this? The tension then moved to my neck and shoulder, the cramp went and the pain moved to my shoulder and hip. I am now very tired:(

Help! I have so much weight to lose

I always weigh myself naked too and I go to the loo first! However I find that I get heavier as the day goes on. Zand I can understand why you put a stone and coins in your pockets but I would never have thought of it myself! Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

Overweight child who eats good food and exercises loads but never gets slimmer - where do I start?

I agree with this. My son had no symptoms apart from being short and overweight. He wasn't lacking in energy. I would ask for a blood test to get things checked as symptoms aren't always apparent. totto both my boys (they have the same condition) see a paediatric endocrinologist but we...

Overweight child who eats good food and exercises loads but never gets slimmer - where do I start?

My son was small born but around age 5 started putting weight on. I took him to the GP when he was 7 and they did a blood test. He has a genetic condition that means he has an under active thyroid and has no growth hormone. We were referred to a paediatric consultant who basically said "some...

    A beautiful afternoon - till!

Durham is the same - they are building thousands of new houses but no extra surgeries or schools. The local hospital can't cope with the numbers we have already and are frequently turning ambulances away:mad:

    A beautiful afternoon - till!

I book all my appointments on line - it is the best thing ever! Our surgery is good too and I can usually get an appointment if I ring in the morning. The receptionists are friendly and helpful too which I gather is a rare thing!

Oh the sweet irony of it.......

Scandi I think very few people plan for unexpected things happening in their lives, life carries on and them bam something happens - in your case your husband lost his job, in mine I got pregnant and left work. My husband burried his head in the sand and the debts got bigger and bigger until...

Oh the sweet irony of it.......

I made some banana and chocolate cakes for the boys last week, they did smell good but I have to say I wasn't tempted. The brownies however were a different story... I have made low carb peanut butter and chocolate brownies and they had the same gooey texture as 'normal' brownies. They were...
