Carbs about 150 g.. Age 59(almost60). BMI 28. Have fatty liver disease, told by dietician at last visit a month ago that BS is going to b e difficult to control with diet and will need to be controlled by medication.

Hi, I was on Metformin then Glucophage but had same awful side effects with both. GP has now changed me to Glicazide and Januvia with no side effects after two months ...and BG's are much better Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

I have been taking Januvia 25 mg with Glicazide 160 mg for just over two weeks and lowest BG has been 3.7. GP wants mine to run between 6-10, HbA1c check in six weeks,last was 7.2 so will be interesting to see what it does with Januvia added in No obvious side effects so far
