    I'd take the chikdren with me to A&E or ask police to "babysit" until a suitable relative or guardian can be found

    Am a T1D Paramedic and am disgusted. However, I sincerely doubt the guy-in-green was a Paramedic and was probably a lower grade Ambulance Crew.

    I cant cope. I understand your feelings. I went from.professional job, to unemployed within 9 days of diagnosis. Finished as a human being; no support, no help from.my ex-colleagues. T1D is not a good diagnosis or life. I wish you the best of luck my friend.

    Advice on drinking alcohol safely with type 1 diabetes??

    I've attended more morning-after DKA emergencies due to deydration (vomiting usually) Hypos occasionally but rarely through alcohol. Bag of chips or toast before bed will help. Check BG regularly while drinking and dont be afraid to call 999 if you need us! Your not wasting our time! Diabetics...
