Mayne some months ago was 101 but this time after change from levemir to Tresiba I have got better results and it was 76 . I was delighted I now have to work harder and get it lower but I am slowly winning
I have been diabetic for 43 years and like you I've put more and more weight on. Eat plenty of vegetables and salad and protein to fill you up and reduce your carbs and that should be a big help
I go yo Slimming world. I don't find losing weight to be easy but it's about what you eat and portion sizes. Maybe doing that would help as I lost about 10 kilos
I have been type 1 for nearly 43 years and my weight used to be ok but as the years went by my weight went up then back down using weight atchers. I finally got very heavy and 1 year ago I decided to go to Slimming world. Their plan works great for a diabetic on insulin. I am now 1 stone lighter...
I have just been reading the latest newsletter and see that Diabetes UK give out medals to people who have been diagnosed for certain lengths of time. It made me wonder how they got these medals. Can anyone answer this please ???
