Help needed here, How long in general does it take for Fiasp Insulin to get absorbed in the body ? Mine starts showing up after one hour of the meal consumed ... Is that normal ? Also is 15 units of Tresiba taken everynight the norm ? Thats what I take.

My GP has a short temper ....he will not take kindly to me swapping very often. perhaps Fiasp is the next choice...

Reason that I am questioning it...is because unlike with Lantus...my sugar are more stable and predictable...which is actually a good thing. secondly seems like Novorapid takes ages....

I used to take 15 units of Lantus every night at 2300 hrs....and am taking the same with tresiba...at least for these starting days.
