Did not cost me a penny - phone them up and they will supply it free - then get the refills on prescription, free to diabetics.

I have been a diet coke cola drinker for many years, now having just passed 70 I am trying to wean myself off it. I do drink tea and coffee (with sweeteners) about 3 a day but I think I will try and find a sugar free squash that suits me. My BS readings have dropped to 13/14 still not good...

Why should we buy our own - we have a free National Health Service - and can get test strips on prescription.

I know being a diavetic it is very naughty - but after a meal whether it be a curry, chineese or just beans on toast I feel I need something sweet - ie chocolate. How can I stop tis I know it would be no good for my blood testing. - help please.

So having read through this tread - today I jumped form 12.2 to 20.2after dring a glass of orange juice - are you saying eating fruit is also bad for a diabetic?
