    Hi type1bri, I was diagnosed June 2014 and I take 7units of lantus however that can fluctuate to 5 or 6 depending on my hormones! And I take between 10 and 12 apidra per day but that can go up at times. My levels can be unpredictable which can be frustrating. I got a half unit pen which helps.
