    Have been experimenting in the kitchen last couple of nights…Last night’s dinner was rib eye steak with a creamy garlic sauce and green beans - I was tempted to lick the plate! Tonight I tried making chicken and cream cheese roll ups in air fryer - sooo good!! Had with leftover beans.

    So today I had an ultrasound to look at the liver. My liver is fatty and I am officially the owner of gallstones. I’m really annoyed but I guess that’s what happens when you eat rubbish for two years. So off I go to research how to tackle both. If anyone has any tips to share, I’m all ears x

    Have managed to intermittently fast all week. It’s been pretty ok except for me getting a bit light headed at 11.30 so I had an early lunch. I can’t believe how well I’ve stuck to keto.     Fasted 18:6. L: chicken roll ups with cheese and ham, cucumber and cream cheese. D: skillet cheesy pizza, keto toastie, then later lemon cheesecake fluff topped with blow carb granola. Yum!!

    I’m not convinced with metformin but willing to give it a go of it helps kick start my weight loss and blood sugar reduction…however I am unimpressed so far! Think I’d do better with extended fasting and let my body lead the way!

    My longest ever fast was 10 days and I felt amazing after it although reintroducing food was very tricky! It improved my dairy intolerance and made all my chesty cough disappear. That was when I was 100% keto and so focused. I’m aiming to get back to that version of myself again asap x

    So it’s been a week and I’m up to 2 pills now a day. I’ve noticed I haven’t slept properly since starting metformin - is that common? I’m shattered by 7pm and find it so hard to stay awake and it’s affecting my memory at work! Will it pass?! Thanks
