Hemochromotosis..... Really sucks on top of T1!

I have just been told that I have hemochromotosis as well as type 1 diabetes. Has anyone been diagnosed with this? I'm so confused, upset and I am in limbo. It's all very frustrating! Any advice/recommendations/help much appreciated. Jenny
