I would say to try not to ever reuse needles and if abroad they are expensive, can you not ask your GP for needles before you leave?

Hi there, it could be a case where you are insulin resistant and you should talk to your diabetes team very quickly if this has been going on for some time. It happened to me and me being me, left it for quite some time and I shouldn't have done that.

Ketones are a very dangerous thing because if they are high, they will make you feel sick. Have you tried contacting your diabetes team/nurse or dialling 111 if ur in the UK?? They'll be more better equipped to help you! And get well soon

My advice to you would be to not fast this year as you are newly diagnosed. Maybe around December when the hours are shorter you can try to fast, or you could try donations and charity work for the time being but since your health should be your number one priority, that is what you should...
