Was at our first diabetic clinic yesterday, my son was only diagnosed 8 weeks ago they said his results on diagnosis were 126 (dont know what % that is!) and then yesterday he was down to 63.............they were very pleased with this result considering.

We were only told to check my son during the night for the first week when he was diagnosed. He was only diagnosed 5 weeks ago and the diabetic team were happy with the readings so told us not to bother now, unless he is unwell.

What levels are you seeing?

My son was given the mobile reader and we havent had any problems with it.

I have just ordered one for my son, more for my piece of mind that anything. Our compromise was that he could choose what he wanted at any cost...........thankfully the one he liked was only £25 but i would have paid whatever if he liked it.
