    Semaglutide shortage.

I'm on 1mg injections and have been having supply problems for quite a while now, looks like it's not just the UK. Just wondering what other people in the same situation are doing.

    Semaglutide shortage.

I have been unable to get my prescription of Semaglutide filled for some time now, and it appears this is a worldwide shortage. I’m also on slow release insulin, can I compensate for the lack of Semaglutide by upping my insulin?

    Bydureon

I have been on Bydureon for over 6 months now and it is doing a great job at keeping my BS down. I inject around my tummy, however I have little body fat so try to pinch a little fat for the injection and i do get the expected lumps, which do not bother me. Recently, however, I have noticed a...

    Weekly injections

Hi, I was recently put on weekly, (bydureon) injections, instead of Linagliptin, still taking metformin. I inject on Saturday mornings, in my stomach area. The only side effect is small lumps under the skin, (which is quite common). So far my BS has come down a little, compared to with...

    Fried breakfast not for me

I always have a grilled breakfast, I use a cast iron griddle, so any fat is left behind. Works for sausages, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes, I have a dry fried egg, so again no fat there.

    Symptoms returning

Sirmione, that's what I'm trying to do, but difficult to stick to, incidentally, my diabetic nurse has never heard of the LCHF diet! Daibell, BMI is 27,(5'9", 13 1/2 stone), however ,I personally don't think that really tells you much, I exercise moderately and have a 32" waist. As far as late...

    Symptoms returning

I typically got 6.5 - 8, but now it's usually i double figures, averaging around 11, no other changes, ie diet and exercise the same. Jo, as I said, I used to be fine with my meds, but slowly my symptoms have returned. I also have regular blood tests and my last one showed an increase in BS...

    Symptoms returning

Yes I do self test and I have noticed a slight increase, but nothing major. I have also altered my diet, leaning more towards the LCHF, but not totally. My diagnosis was by chance too, after I had a foot problem and was advised to take a test.

    Statins

Sorry Rod, no printout, it's just from memory of what I saw on the screen. My main concern though is what the statins are doing to my BS.

    Blood sugar still high

I'm 52, but my nurse reckons I've been diabetic for about 5 years. It all adds up too, I have many of the symptoms for years, such as peeing more frequently, drinking lots of water, tiredness, particularly after eating and a raging appetite.

    Blood sugar still high

Ok, my only comment would be how my doctor, (or diabetes nurse) reacts to me asking for specific tests, for example they had never heard of the LCHF diet!
