Aww Furbs, pleased he is ok. I got told at my last appointment my cholesterol is a bit high, doc wanted to start me on tablets but he said if I start I will be on them the rest of my life. So I opted not too, gonna give it a try to get it down myself. x

Don't get too drunk you forget to take your insulin.. Happened to me on a few occasions, had a binge weekend and by the Monday I've been in hospital with DKA which is horrible.

I've done that before and thought the same as you, but just tried it with my pen without it being injected and it squirts ok lol

I went to Cuba and they were very understanding at airports etc. I did get reported for doing drugs by the cleaner of the hotel who walked in on me injecting, but after the manager explained the situation to her, the next day she was fine and apologetic. When I first got diagnosed I used to think it was safer to run high than risk going low. Then I decided to try and control it better, but because I'd been running high for so long, getting down to normal levels made me feel hypo, but I was at 5 or 6.
