    OK problem resolved my meter giving false reading. Checked on friends meter and I was a healthy 6.7 . Panic over.

    Hiya. Ok I have eaten very carefully and just checked and it is reading 11.1 which is spectacularly high for me but way down from 20 yesterday. I will check later on my friends meter and see how that looks. Thanks for your help and concern.

    I feel OK - no thirst or peeing. I have a slight headache but it probably stress. All I had eaten before test were 2 boiled eggs and a crayfish salad. I had some chicken and carrots fir dinner. I will do another test in 2 hrs. My weight is stable at 81kg at 5'10

    I just did my post meal and it has shot up to 8.4!!!! which is way higher than anything in the past 30 days. Had very light dinner - no alcohol or anything Really concerned :-)

    Which meter should I get?

    I really like my Dario. It was a bit fiddly at first and I wasted some strips in getting the hang of it but now it works just fine and is very handy to travel with - I travel a lot. I don't know if I can get the strips on NHS, I will ask my GP who is super helpful.
