    Completely inaccurate freestyle libre scans

Hello, each time I scan my freestyle libre, it is completely inaccurate compared to my finger prick tests. I have had it on for 5 days now, and I would think by now it would be accurate. For example it will scan as 5.7, but when I finger prick- my BG is 10.5. does anyone know what I can do...

    uni, diabetes and concentration

I'm in my final year of university, this might be a silly thing to say but I'm worried about my bg levels having an effect on the amount of time I can work. I'm not sure if I'm the only one but when I have a high BG I can't concentrate. and obviously that can affect the work I do. At the same...

    Trigger warning: suicide

I used to be diagnosed with bipolar disorder as well but then was undiagnosed. I find it really hard to know if I am 'depressed'. I know that might sound silly, given what I've just said. I worry I'm just bad at 'life' hence why I feel suicidal. I find it hard to say I'm depressed because I feel...

    Trigger warning: suicide

Hello, I have t1 diabetes and have done for 20 years (I'm 23.5). Since the age of 11, I've had suicidal thoughts and wishes to end my life, I do currently. I just wanted to ask, does anyone else with diabetes and can this be linked/ because of it? It's not that I think 'I'm diabetic, I want to...

luckily my course doesn't have exams, so its just coursework i am worried about. i might speak to student welfare anyway but i feel like i might be asking for something i don't deserve. my diabetes is 'well controlled' (according to doctors) but i just feel like every day i will at least have...

asking for more time on uni assignments due to my diabetes?

i see, sorry you had to go through that! ive never ever passed out in the 19 years of having it, but every day my diabetes will knock out time i could have spent working, which is why i wanted to ask for extra time or maybe not even extra time but some kind of thing that could make working and...

Hi, I am almost in my 3rd year of university, and I want to ask for more time on my assignments due to my t1d, because I feel like my diabetes prevents me from working sometimes, especially when my blood sugars are fluctuating. i try as hard as i can to manage my t1d, my hba1c is 7.0, but it...

high blood sugar effect on concentration

hi, i was just wondering if you find that when your blood sugar is high, it is very difficult for you to focus on work? for me this is definitely the case. if i'm above 11, i feel like my focus drifts away and im very sluggish. it makes me feel guilty for not being productive when im trying...
