Hello and Welcome to the forum, I also lost weight like thatat first and put it down to the change of diet and the tablets i was given also the exercise I had upped :)

when I was diagnosed with Type 2.. I was 14 1/2 stone that was 3 years ago now I have been on met 2xam + pm all this time I am now 8 stone 11...but I do exercise daily after meals which i find brings the levels down..

breakfast~ Shredded wheat lunch~ egg on brown bread, 1 med apple dinner~ salad, scampi and a few french fries supper ~ banana sandwich

I also have had Hypothyroidism for many years... as for the doctor you use I would also change them....love reading this forum <3

Hello everyone ...I am Type 2 and was on humulin however i asked to try some new tabs as was having hypos with injections and they darn scary, been on the tabs for two weeks now and although tends to go high in the evening i am managing..... more weight though i can not afford tom lose so am...

I used ground almonds yesterday and was pleasantly surprised ...it was delicious and thank you for that tip about extra mix i did think there was too much crumble or maybe not enough apple laughs so will do that next time and make some nice biscuits as well, thank you

well no problems yet but are there no alternatives to metforminmin I thought there was may be mistaken though!

Must admit I have made an apple crumble a few times and omitted the sugar by using the sweetner candarel I used plain flour and it was delicious... but will have to try this recipe as it also sounds delicious <3
