My great aunt is 93 and diet exercise controlled type 2, my mom & dad are both type 2 in their 70s and my gran was in her 70s when she passed but that wasn't anything to do with her diabetes. I'm 46 so working on the theory that I have at least another 30 years left!
So many things I think of now that we're never mentioned in careers classes at school / think I would have liked something like crime scene investigation, but I work in IT, and when I was at school I wanted to be a typing teacher or midwife random!!

I don't test often, but then I'll have a couple of days where I'll keep a diary of food, times & bg levels. Providing there's no issue I then scrap my piece of paper!
Lucky you, I had a salad about an hour ago and the world is getting blurred - forgot my tester this morning though so can only guess what's causing the blur!
Rant away. It's cakes for birthdays where I work as well, and it's mine next weekend. I know even though I don't eat the goodies they all bring in someone will blab that it's my birthday and I'll be asked where the cakes are. I also work with some one who claims to be gluten intolerant but keeps...
