    Which Bread?

Here's the link to their page for bread mixes. It appears they only do the mix in a bag direct from them but I get it from a health shop in a small box for about £5!! http://www.sukrin.co.uk/sukrin-bread-mix-low-carb-free-from-gluten-and-wheat-free-sunflower-and-pumkin-seeded-bread-mix/

    Which Bread?

I personally use Sukrin if i want a "bread" fix. 1 carb a slice if you slice it right!! Not cheap to buy but it tastes good :-)

Feeling more positive about my diabetes

Just got back in after seeing the DNS and Doc from my first check up and one happy bunny. I was diagnosed in early July with type 2 and like most left to get on with it. Rabbit in a headlight syndrome set in then i started reading the posts on here and learning about the condition. Decided that...

Feeling more positive about my diabetes

Like most newly diagnosed people i guess i started off scared, depressed and over whelmed by it. My DNS had basically left me too it till i have my first Hba1c (18th Oct) so i turned to here for guidance. To be honest it made me more confused because as a group we have so many different...

    Kinda following a LC diet...

There are no breaks at work for the shift workers, these were negotiated out by the union many years ago. We're expected to eat while we work. It sounds worse than it is. I may just speak to them and say i need to stop and eat because i wont be having sandwiches anymore! Currently living on...

    Kinda following a LC diet...

Diagnosed early July and wont have my first Hba1c till November, so no history yet. No meds as of yet and not on anything else. Liking the lunch ideas, been avoiding sausages because of the fillers, but didn't realise the better quality ones have little fillers! Have to be careful with sitting...

In order to try and get some balance to my food day i try and eat around 7. We only have a microwave...

    Kinda following a LC diet...

Very rarely are my pre meal levels good, even if they come in under 7 its only just, post meal (2 hrs after) are slightly better but not always. Im pretty much living on a...

Can someone tell me what a fasting BG is please? Did my first test this morning before breakfast and it was 9.2, just retested and its 7.4. Thats good right? Breakfast was a small bowl of porridge made with unsweetened soya milk (i'm diary and lactose intolerant too!). Im not feeling well at the...

    Newly diagnosed

Taken the advice on board and just ordered myself a meter. Noticed for the first time today feeling light headed because i hadn't eaten. Changed what i've done for the past 2 days as i thought it may be a better way to spread the carbs! Mon/Tue i had carbs at breakfast and lunch (porridge/ham...

    Newly diagnosed

Hi, im a newly diagnosed Type 2 and after reading some of the forum posts newly confused.
