    Ozempic

I've been #debs g I had over a year on Ozempic. It helped me lose 2 stone. I've kept more than 1/2 of that off since refusing to pay $500/pen. My words of caution would be very sparing with the drug. If you start out with 0.25/week and only gradually move up as necessary you'd avoid all the...

I'm in the US and I'm on Ozempic. I had an A1c done in January and that came in at 6.5 (just inside the diabetic threshold). Last 6 years I controlled my T2DM via daily exercise of either 90 minutes cycling or 75 min uphill hiking. I'm down now nearly 2 stone, but more exactly 25lbs. I've got 15...

    Can anyone recommend anything?

If you can get along with it, have a word with your PCP or your endocrinologist about Ozempic. I'm down 23lbs and I don't think I'm actively suffering as from DM. I'm out of town at the moment but when I get back to Los Angeles I'll get a fresh A1c done to confirm.

    Metformin and fasting

I've found this video about losing insulin resistance from Dr. Annette Boswell important to me. Instead of eating in the evenings I try and drink just green tea from about 4pm onwards and give my body a chance to lower my weight over the longer haul.. So I eat a good meal in the mornings a...

Weight loss drug for type 2 diabetics

Hi @Pipp I've experienced nausea, soft stools, and constipation. Everyone's experience is different. One has to think of this as a genuine medicine. It is a medicine it is in one's system and it doesn't "Taste" nice. I'm working on fasting from lunchtime onwards. That should lower my basal...

Weight loss drug for type 2 diabetics

I'm four weeks in and on my 5th dose of Semaglutide. It is not a tough drug to use but I sense I've got the very faint smell of stale diesel in my mouth all the time.
