    Type Two with Glaucoma

Dear Lazybones, I did wonder if the occlusion might be related to cholesterol. I too take dispersible aspirin - just the one though! We shall see how the autodrop works with different drop containers. Some flood onto my face and others are so solid and difficult to get to work. Have just started...

    Type Two with Glaucoma

I think there are different sets of genes related to glaucoma and its inheritance. Not sure if the set I have from Mum is a dominant gene (that if inherited gives you the condition) or if I have inherited two recessive ones. Don't know my father's family so no idea if they had glaucoma or not...

So sorry to hear of the sight loss in your left eye. How did that get missed - maybe you didn't already have glasses for short sight or whatever? Am getting good care for eyes despite annoying epi-retinal membranes and also for diabetes. Am about to start on Gliclazide (not easy to say or...

There was an article on the list last August about Glaucoma medication maybe helping with reduction of HBA1C readings and no one seemed to follow this up. I was...

Well, don't bother looking for the 30 day meal plan as not now available it seems. Newly diagnosed with Type II, I thought it would be a brilliant idea and downloaded the whole thing. Then tonight I started on the first dinner described as Chicken with mushrooms and halfway through I had no idea...

    retinopathy misdiagnosis!!

Hi Poohtiggy, We all seem to have had different experiences with the standard of retinopathy screening. Mine has been arranged at my local hospital, Wycombe General, where I see the Ophthalmic consultant and her team at a regular clinic. I have had retinal screens (in great colours) already...

    retinopathy misdiagnosis!!

Hi Poohtiggy, This is an error that needs sorting out by your hospital. Your retinopathy team have not given you a clear descriptive diagnosis and that has caused you concern. I know what a worry sight loss can be as I already have eye problems (cataracts. glaucoma and retinal membranes causing...
