Yes there was definitely a 2nd test by a new endo. I wasn't happy with the first. If I am not gad positive now am I still a type 1.5. I was told no point in trying the Newcastle diet because I was type 1 slow burning

I was diagnosed with LADA 2 years ago. I take metaformin and my hb1ac was 5.6 last time. my specialist says my control is excellent but I do have bad neuropathy in my feet and hands.

So I bought some ALpha liop..acid....it says maximun 100 mg per day.......do I need more to try to help my neuropathy Thanks

Thank you everyone for all your suggestions. I will definitely try them. The neuropathy is getting me down. The ED is also very depressing ....again it has gotten worse despite hb1ac of 43 ....tried sidenafil which half worked but no longer does. Is there anything which might help this. Thanks

Thanks.....I will try that. My bloods never go above 7...the neuropathy is more of a problem for me than the diabetes at the moment. ..
