    Chips from the chippy?!?

Being diabetic doesn't mean you can't eat normally my god. The i came on here looking for the same advice and this is the first thing I see. After being urged to come back to this site for support this is so disappointing. I do hope you found a real answer to your problem.

    Depression?

Diabetic retinopathy.. Influx of hormones during pregnancy can make the condition worse or bring it on during the pregnancy. My doctor basically skied any actual conversation about the problems in my eyes and just told me I'd go blind if I got pregnant, then after this I got my eyes checked...

    Depression?

Thankyou for your reply. It actually made me smile a bit. I think there are a couple of doctors I can try around here, one let me down when I was young and I moved, then the one I'm at left me down again giving me tablets I found out could cause me problems. And could be part of why I have...

    Am I being too controlling?

From the kids side, iv had exactly this problem with my testing and my parents when I was young. If he's still testing and showing you then that is a major win at this age. Try keep calm with him its a lot to deal with and be careful about talking to doctors about him, be sure he trusts them...

    Pump holiday?

I had horrible bruises and marks using my stomach for injecting I avoided using the area as much as I could. But with the pump I was fine, it seems a hell of a lot easier on your body than them little pricks. As long as your moving it ever 3days or 2. It's been perfect for me since changing :)

    Cannula/infusion site - chest

I had sensitive skin on my stomach for injections so never used it, I just bruised insanely if I did, but with a pump it's fine, doctors can only really tell you what their textbooks say half the time, if it works it works, everybody is different with each thing, what ever your doing works...
