    Diabetes and liver problems

I don't think Guzzler is quite correct. The liver can regenerate itself but repairing cirrhosis is a different matter because cirrhosis is effectively scar tissue. This comes from one who had a liver transplant 17 years ago caused by a form of cirrhosis. Don't know about the fatty liver though...

Poll: Which diabetes course(s) have you attended?

Not been offered any courses but from the messages on here I'm not sure I would want to go. However I have a very supportive GP and DN who are happy with for me to be low carb. I also get plenty of test strips on prescription so can test frequently. Sent from my Lenovo P2a42 using...

We know spikes are bad, but……

Well, I dip in and out as and when and I shall continue to do so. I think that my point in respect of this particular post was that before posting something like that you should at least read the actual research as this gives a very different favour to the information and this can be...

We know spikes are bad, but……

Ok, I apologise if I was too harsh and no I'm not looking for absolutes, I know that's not sensible. However that particular info is both a distraction and far too complex for most of us to understand (speaking for myself only of course). It is, I feel also not really on point. Sent from my...

We know spikes are bad, but……

This was what I was trying to avoid if you had read the beginning of the post. However looking at the actual article rather than the abstract which you reprinted here for transient read 16 hours I'm talking about less than 60 minutes, hardly the same thing, and the experiments were done at...
