    G6 keeps losing signal

No problems for us. iPhone and the G6 transmitter is the firefly one I think.

Do you use the omnipod in conjunction with the dexcom loopercat? How long do you manage to stay in range (%)? We're looking at your route in order to get some more 'alarm free' nights.

    CGM usage with insulin pens

My wife has been using the G6 for several months now with pens. No bolus calculator with the official dexcom app as somebody else has said. There is a feature to log carbs everytime he has some though, If he's using a phone as the receiver I'm pretty sure there will be an app out there somewhere...

Update on costs particularly Dexcom G6 v Libre

You need the transmitter. The transmitter attaches to your sensor and the app receives the info from the transmitter. We have found it very accurate.

Update on costs particularly Dexcom G6 v Libre

We pay around the £52 mark for a G6 sensor that lasts us around 20 days each time. Transmitter is the big cost after that and lasts 3-3.5 months but can be extended I believe using non dexcom technology. The alarms are very good but be prepared for more sleepless nights unless you have very...

    Trying for number 2

Hi Sarah, Do you mind if I ask where in the UK you are based? My wife has recently been turned down for dexcom funding. We've been self funding it for over three years now and also trying for baby number two. My wife has issues with a lack of hypo awareness overnight which is one of the reasons...

    Dexcom G6 transmitters

    Dexcom G6 transmitters

Transmitter. Just trying to find out how long it will last before it dies without interfering with it. My wife is not great with technology so can't really do any resetting of it until I'm back home and I'm away for another week or so.

    Dexcom G6 transmitters

Does anybody know a strategy which will get a little more time out of a G6 transmitter just using the dexcom app and not going down the xdrip route? Activated on 28/10 which makes day 90 on Friday. Anybody know an exact cutoff date as my searching just finds reference to '3 months'?

    Dexcom G6 wear on arm

My wife wears the G6 on her arm. Very good accuracy and usually gets just under three weeks use per sensor. Has been using it since the launch of G6 in the UK and before that used the G5 on her arm. Found it has better accuracy than wearing on her stomach. She initially wire the G4 on her...

    G6 keeps losing signal

Yes agree their customer service is very good. If you're still having the same issues with a new transmitter I can only think it must be a phone issue so might be worth changing out the phone for another family members at that stage if possible for a trial.

    G6 keeps losing signal

No issues here. Maybe loses signal once a week when the phone is too far away from the transmitter. I'd call dexcom to discuss and make sure you're getting free replacement sensors. As you said they are not cheap and should last a minimum of ten days.
