    Sleep after every meal

Goonergal, yes a K2 combined, sorry to hear Covid has contributed to this issue. Seems every Dr now is putting things against C19. I think I'll do the BS levels at 1,2 hours etc as Bulkbiker suggested too. If this is unclear I'll look at the Libre. I will try the Drs for a blood tests as others...

    Sleep after every meal

VashtiB thanks. The poor sleeping is a silent emotional roller coaster, only us that suffer know what it brings. I'm not shy with the salt that is for sure, but I think I'll add some more, I do love good pink salt....Funny thing is I don't give Carbs a second thought only when I have to explain...

    Sleep after every meal

Goonergal, Thanks for replying. Fatigue is always after eating, I'm a usual get up and go person...A Lark some would say! Although I do force myself and when I was commuting daily I'd like a 20 min nap on the train on the way home. This helped a little to balance out the previous nights sleep...

Morning all, annual bloods this morning...should be interesting. I am wondering if whilst they are doing so should I ask for any other checks? I’m not too sure what they are going to check in the annual one?

    Low carb and stuck

Thanks for this...in the 10 plus range when I started, I’m comfortable with the figures but stubborn readings are doing my head in. Yes I was thinking of dropping my late night snack. (Reluctantly though...love the feelings of the naughtiness of it, even though I know it’s not too bad)...

    Low carb and stuck

Hi all, so I’m 4 weeks in low carb and feel absolutely fine. However my BG fasting is in between 7-8 at waking and then about the same at a fast of 16 hours. I’m drinking water at 3 litres and 3 cups of filter coffee. I’m keeping carbs no higher than 30g per day and protein at 170g and fats at...

    One apprehensive week gone...

So this time last week after having a dreadful discussion with Nurse. After reading lots of advice found here and taking everything on board (thank you for those who commented) I switched from 160g of carb to 50g. I just simply removed all the carbs. Adjusted my macro to 60% fat, kept my...

Thanks I'm slowly wrapping my head around low carb....But I'm not looking to lose weight rather getting the BS levels right for me. Hence my reliance on Calories in/out. I don't want to lose the 'Gain's I've made in the Gym...At 52 years they are hard to keep at a lean level....so I'm thinking...

Thanks thats very helpful...Yes def married to calories...I like tracking them but not overly so( I keep this well away from the family) to avoid overdoing them in all circumstances...I’ll be mindful this switch over...I relate to that completely...I am defiantly going to speak to the Drs about...
