Hi Pauline ,it took me a while to get my thoughts round diabetes and I'm glad I found this forum,it has helped a lot.

Sometimes we can't always have what we want in life Red,if you want to control your diabetes then you are going to have to change!! I think most of us have had to make sacrifices and we are healthier for it,at the end of the day it is your choice,eat what you like and lose your feet or eat less...

Perhaps if you were to make a film on the successes and positive stories on here then it may encourage other diabetics to take control of their diabetes and not just sit back and wait for complications to set in.

Don't know about your diabetes but I bet your liver is not too happy!

Could it be to do with the heat we have had lately? My legs always swell up when it is hot.
