    Jury service

When in a theatre I put my volume low and pop the unit in my pocket so I feel it on vibrate.

I've been prescribed this diuretic following a heart failure diagnosis. Since taking it I've been unable to control my sugars, using 45% extra insulin. I'll be calling the clinic in the morning to discuss, but has anyone else had a problem with this?

    Omnipod 5 - rollout in England 19 June 2023

Hi all, I went on to Omnipod 5 from dash at the end of last year. It's a slightly retrograde step, I'm on libre 2 and don't qualify for the Dexcom kit so no closed loop.

    Heart failure

Yes thank you. Waiting for a refferal just now,

    Heart failure

Just another unexpected complication, 65 y/o 45 yrs T1, generally good control, much better now than early days with latest developments. Feeling ropey and breathless since a covid bout last August, pestering GP. Eventual heart failure diagnosis and refferal to cardio clinic. 27% ejectection...

Spoke to the diabetic team, libre 3 with closed loop omnipod 5 hook up, later this year. "Would you like to try it"? Yes please...

    Night-time highs

I do get similar, particularly in periods of stress. I increase the basal profile from 9pm, then if required, a correction about 10.30. Generally this works but not always.

    Libre 2 which phone

Well just to update the Samsung A12 works, but doesn't scan as reliably or conveniently as the reader so reverted to that.

    Libre 3 rollout

Our MP (Nadaim Zahawi) doesn't do much to engage with the locals so probably wouldn't do much good.

    Libre 3 rollout

That's a shame, I thought they were std issue.

    Libre 3 rollout

It's approved but not on general rollout yet, hoping they'll just upgrade from 2 to 3. Any idea when this'll happen in the uk?

    Libre 2 and miaow miaow

I really don't know what I'm doing with this, I'll have to wait until libre 3.

    Libre 2 and miaow miaow

Hi all I'm also interested in this having the ability to display BG without having to scan would be very helpful in my agricultural work, often outside, wearing gloves and covered in mud. When I look it appears I can download an app, unfortunately it involves either a bubble ( whatever that...

NHS omnipod + libre funding term

I started with freestyle early 2020 and omnipod late 2020., it occurs to me I could swap to a different pump and cgm this year? Is this correct?

    YpsoPump vs Medtronic 780g

I can't help but also interested, I notice it's the same manufacturer as omnipod. Currentlyim using omnipod and freestyle. I've a pretty active, physical, outdoors lifestyle. I'm hoping by the time I'm approved for CGM and closed loop the bugs have been ironed out.

    Omnipod high sugars

I had an interesting conversation yesterday with the DN. She suggested I try 48hr pod/site changes therefore reducing the amount of insulin administered in one spot. When I spoke of absorbance problems with some areas (legs in my case) she said not unusual. Other users suffered the same and...
