    I`ve read a lot about how bread is bad for diabetics, but have been left confused. We usually have normal white bread but have got some multi-grain bread. Looking at the labels it doesn`t appear to be any better than normal white....or have I missed something?

    Thank you for all the above. I have a meter and test according to the instructions I got from the diabetes nurse - "Every so often". From what I have read this is worthless! I was put on Forxiga due to having an HGV licence but that gave me neck cramps so I stopped taking it. I just don`t...

    I`m so confused. After my latest results I was summoned to the practice diabetes nurse. She says that "they" need to do something quick so have put me on a Sulhranurea as well as my metformin. I know somethings not right as I have lost over a stone and spend most nights going to the toilet...

    Thanks Brunneria. Specifically what did I eat before each test? In all cases, less than normal and nothing that I`m lead to believe I shouldn`t be eating ( but thats one of the problems in knowing whats good and bad and how i should eat it if i`m awake for 24 hours, etc )
