I have the Accu-Chek Active, it has a USB port. The user manual gives instruction on how to connect to computer, download and analyse results. If you have a USB port on your tablet it should work I think, check your user manual.

What did it say in the blurb that came with the device?

Hi Liz and welcome. My HBa1c was 88 in Feb. Following the advice on these forums on what to eat and some moderate exercise, I'd reduced that to 44 by end of May. If I can do it you can too. Good luck. DD

YEY !! It's gone down from 75 on 27/2/15 to 44 on 27/05/15 (still dancing about) Cholesterol HDL 1.2, LDL 3.26, triglycerides 1.66 (are those levels OK?) All this is due to you great people, thank you all. P.S. Not sure Dr believed these were my results, I'm to have another test next...

As well as using the above advice make sure you are well hydrated, plenty of water will help.

I watched my angioplasty procedure, it was amazing.

Oh, I feel the frustration, having a similar experience and ending up with nodding dog syndrome. When are these people going to change from the current dogma of trying to push carbs on us! :mad:

Have you checked the price of specs on-line? There are plenty of sites that are much cheaper than an optician. I had a few pairs over the years, either send your current frames and prescription or choose new frames if you wish, it worked well for me. Since I had cataract surgery I just buy...
