    Not always, DB nurse told me 2 hours after meal end, will ask the DB consultant next week when I have my check-up.

    I always test 2 hours after I finish eating, as I can take up to half an hour or more to eat a meal.

    Prescription woes

    I think I have a very lazy doctor. He sends 5 repeat dispensing prescriptions for 2 months of meds to the pharmacy when I need them. I actually have 2 months in reserve as he once miscalculated and gave me a prescription for 6 months instead of 2 months. I split the difference to have a reserve.

    First time post but long time lurker. T2 on tablets for over ten years got my first meter shortly after diagnoses, strips and lancets on prescription. Currently using a One Touch Verio IQ @ home and a Freestyle Optium Neo when out and about. Never had a problem getting repeat prescriptions. :)
