Induction stories please! What to pack?

I went in on a Sunday evening to get induced, thinking I'd probably be back home by the Monday night. That didn't happen! Between the Sunday and the Tuesday I was given the induction pessaries 3 times but nothing was happening, baby was just far too comfortable! Ended up getting a section on...

    So fed up :(

My fasting levels can be anything between 5 and 10, lately they have been hovering around 8-something. I know all about low-carb - I lost 3 stone just before I was pregnant (my little boy is now 3) then put it all back on and now I can't seem to get back on track and my health is going downhill...

    So fed up :(

So fed up of feeling ill and tired all the time. Had too many days off work sick this year because of being ill, exhausted and run down. So far I've had tonsillitis, a kidney infection, bowel inflammation and just yesterday severe dizzy spells and tiredness. Been put on medication, then more...

    I'm a Cooking Disaster

Don't think I'd be brave enough to try and bake this! I'm not crazy about bread anyway so don't feel the need to find a low carb substitute. However I am missing pasta and rice! Going to have a go at making leek lasagne, courgette spaghetti and cauliflower rice.

How long have you been low-carbing?

Lots of great replies here! Thanks xx I've been back to low-carbing seriously only since last Sunday, (after last Saturday night's Indian takeaway carb disaster!) But I've stuck with it all week and I've been feeling great. Although today I don't think I had enough to eat - I had some Greek...

How long have you been low-carbing?

I was just wondering how long people have been low-carbing! Also how much weight have you lost and what kind of blood results you have had as a result. Any other weird and wonderful changes or health benefits? :)

How do we have a low carb Christmas?

I'm really looking forward to Christmas and hopefully being able to fit into a nice dress for the work night out! Christmas dinner itself is pretty low carb friendly as it is basically just a roast with loads of veggies. No roast potatoes for me thanks! I'll skip pudding but will probably have...

    Low carb work lunch ideas?

So, it's getting cold outside and salads seem less appealing at this time of year! Does anyone have any low carb (preferably warm) lunch ideas that I can take to work? Need to be able to heat in the microwave or take in a flask. Soup seems like the obvious choice but what can I put in it? Are...

    Loss of appetite?

Has anyone else experienced a loss of appetite on lchf? I'm currently halfway through a cheese omelette with buttered mushrooms and am really struggling to eat it even though it is really yummy! This has also happened a few times when eating my salads at lunchtime. I eat a few bites then simply...
