    Well, vitamin D is really, really important. I'm at home, being unable to work for the last 1.5 years because of vitamin D deficiency. It means your muscles can't work properly and some of the muscles slowly get smaller and smaller.

    Oh my, that sounds awful. I think you'll have to listen to them and do as they say. Then they can see whether that works. It's true that continued ketosis makes one more glucose intolerant, as enzymes for sugar metabolism are regulated down when they are not needed.

    In the morning, the liver produces glucose and releases it to the blood. It's popularly called a liver dump. So for most people, there's a rise in blood sugar in the morning.

    Well, good news that you don't have an insulinoma! I'm happy that they're taking it seriously and trying to figure out what's going on. And don't mind the nurse, she's just applying standard advice to your abnormal case.

    You might not have it, as your symptoms are not reversed by administration of glucose.
