    High sugar and menopause

    Since I've started my 'hot flushes' my sugars have gone up from 11 in the mornings to 16.5. How can I bring them down with out further tablets. I haven't changed my diet and I do exercise. I find my sugars go up when I exercise too.

    Exercise increases my BS levels!

    I go salsa dancing 1-2 times a week and find that when I take my BS readings when I'm home they are high (14.7 last night after 3 hrs dancing) what can I do to reduce them.

    Higher blood sugars, tired, confused and feeling depressed!

    I'm on 2 500 mg Glucophage a day which until recently was fine all of a sudden though they've gone from 8 in the morning to 10+. Does stress play apart in levels? At the moment I'm under going a bit of stress marriagewise and my daughter flying the nest in September!

    dancing and diabetes

    I went to salsa lessons last night. After about 2hr of dancing I suddenly found that my concentration had gone and I could hardly remember any steps ( 2 left feet syndrom :)). Could this be due a hypo or something as not long before the instructor had complimented me on my dancing!

    high readings in the morning

    I've just been put on to a 3rd 500mg glucophage tablet. Since then my daily and evening readings have come down but my morning one doesn't seem to go below 9.5- 8.5 before adding the extra tablet it was usually 7.5 >and I'm eating eating exactly the same for supper. Any ideas?
