    Type 1 Item On Today Programme

    The Today programme on Radio 4 has an item on type 1 diabetes at about 6.45. it is a discussion with a doctor and a type 1 patient who was found to have some functioning pancreas cells which have been giving some protection against complications. Sorry I'm a bit vague but I found it interesting.

    Guidelines for frequency of HbA1c tests

    Does anyone have a definitive guide for NICE guidelines for the frequency of the HbA1c test. We know that longer intervals = poorer control. My DN has taken it upon herself to change mine from six monthly to annually. I only found out when I telephoned to chase it up.
