    Faulty Freestyle Libre Sensors

I called Abbott on the Freefone number and was put through a 20 minute accusatory interrogation. Not a pleasant experience at all. Eventually - after a off line discussion with someone else - she said that she would replace the sensor "this time" insinuating I was not genuine. She said I should...

    Faulty Freestyle Libre Sensors

How do you contact Freestyle to report a faulty Libre sensor and hopefully get it replaced? Mine started reading LOW and I continued feeding it until I could get to do a blood test - when I was 17 mmol/l The sensor was in its second day!

    Omnipod question

I can't find how to post a question, but maybe someone will put this in the appropriate place if this is incorrect... Does the Omnipod allow you to bolus a required amount without doing a BG test? Does the handset allow you to enter a carb unit and calculate the bolus required then send it to...

Freestyle Libre - what's involved & is it worth it..?

If you have an Android smartphone, you don't even have to spend money on the reader. As well as a free app, it means one less device to have to carry around. I am only a few days into my first Freestyle sensor but I am already a big fan. I think I will be checking the pennies to fund one...

Hello I have had an Accu-chek insulin pump since 2008 (Spirit then Combo), and love it. I have booked to take the family to Lapland for next Christmas and the temperatures at that time of year can be as low as -30 degrees. I want to make sure that I am fully prepared, so I am looking for help...

    Dafne pump course

Thanks Catherine - a relevant reply. For those who haven't heard of DAFNE, your health providers should be ashamed! It is well worth chasing it up.

    Dafne pump course

The thread is the DAFNE pump course, which is totally different to operating a pump. If you don't know about the DAFNE course I suggest you find out and book yourself on it - it is really useful.

    Dafne pump course

I am talking about the DAFNE course - not the pump operation. Dose Adjustment For Normal Eating. This is a national (indeed international) organisation and it runs two distinct courses - one for MDI and one for pump users. I have been on the MDI and now am on a pump, so my original question was...

    Dafne pump course

Thank you for your help. I was thinking that there was a difference as they are two distinct courses.

    Dafne pump course

I have been on the DAFNE course and like most people, I found it really good. However, now on a pump, I wondered if there was "conversion material" I could access to make the principles relevant to a pump user? I guess that the main approach is the same - carb counting, recording, step approach...
