    I agree with everything you are saying there, but with the backlash that the government are getting from the public (which I don't think they should be getting), I believe someone will still try. Anyway, I will put that one to bed now.

    I have done that and the advice was to self isolate for 12 weeks. But have also been told that if I have any problems, I can come back to them and they will write me a letter.

    I think you are probably right. I do wonder who will be the first person to try and sue the government if a person dies due to COVID-19 and not getting a letter. This could get interesting!

    10.6 at 7:00 this morning. Then a spike to 14.8 by 9:30 even after my metformin. Later in the morning jumped to 15.6. Lunchtime before eating I hit 17.3. Another metformin and down to 11.5 by 3:15. Going to bed on 9.4

    As a T2 I have mine every 6 months at my doctors surgery. I have my blood taken there then see the Diabetic Nurse for review.
