Hi David, sorry to hear this. As I understand it, steroids will almost certainly put your blood glucose up, but hopefully if like me you're just on a short course, it won't do too much long term damage. Doc just said to me to monitor closely and if my levels go up beyond 15 to stop the steroids.

The blurry vision is quite common when your blood sugar starts to come down, I'm afraid mine lasted around 6 weeks. Poundland reading glasses were my saviour! Well done on your progress so far!

Interesting. I've just started taking curcumin in the hope it will help with joint pain and inflammation in my lungs. How long did it take before you felt it was making a difference?

I know you shouldn't have it on some blood pressure meds.
