    How long did it take you to develop neuropathy?

    It took me around 25 years, from diagnoses, to develop neuropathy in my feet and lower part of my calves. I'm taking Gabapentin for any pain.

Get registered on the Medtronic eshop for your supplys as well - a box of 10 sets and reservoirs only last about a month so get some supplies ordered. Have fun

    good luck tomorrow. concentrate on the cannula insertion tomorrow and definitely play round with the pump during the next 7 days whilst you are on the saline.

    yeah, I see Carol/Alison about every 4 months now as they are happy with my control (been averaging A1c of 6.7% which is incredible after close on 23 years of 10%+).     hi @blueeyed81 I did my pump training at Barrow as well, 2 years ago, and if it is still the same set up, with the Medtronic nurse, it will be a group session involving 4 or 5 of you.

    Just had my first first 6 month pump review on Wednesday - had a HbA1c of 9.7% in January.....September's reading 6.7%. Very happy.
