    Im on both was prescribed victoza first which helped with the weight loss but not blood sugar levels so now take 1.8mg of victoza and 12 units of humalin they wanted to put sister in law on it but they would have had to change insulin defo worth asking [emoji4][emoji4]

    I went to gym and aqua last night instead of having no sugar squash i had a lucozade sport which helped and kept it at a good and not a hypo :-)

    Hi everyone im a t2 and recently been put on 12 units of humalin as well as metformin pioglitazone and victoza. I have been going to the gym and aqua aerobics up to three times a week at various times of the day doesnt seem to matter wat i have eaten before hand my bs seems to drop like a stone...

    Thats the issue i had with them and they said i had a reaction to them can you not ring your dsn instead of waiting for the appt whatever you are injecting wont be absorbed as easily which could upset your levels x

    My life needles google them they seem to be best for me no pain and no bruising which is always a positive hope this helps you x

    I was put on victoza in October and started on 5mm needles but they were causing discomfort and bruising so changed to 4mm gluco rx needles these seemed to have caused a reaction so i changed to 4mm my life needles which seem to be working alot better its all about trial and error maybe one...

    Sorry to hear that it didnt work for you. So far i have lost 1/2 a stone and have been on it 6 weeks it totally has eradicatd my cravings for carbs but still have my weak moments will see whether it has had any effect on hba1c in january

    Have had first dose now feeling quite sick and have heartburn but had that before taking it. Hoping this will go away soon glad i got first over and done with doesnt seem as daunting as was first time of injecting. Only time will tell thank you for replying.     I am changing to victoza today and am very nervous. I stopped taking 3mg of repaglinide yesterday and all i have done this morning is shake wondering if this is cold turkey as have been on repaglinide for about the last ten years. Or is it the anxiety of changing to something new
