    Fasting can increase BP. Stress of course. Has your heart rate increased? Beta blockers are great for stress induced BP by slowing the heart and as a consequence BP will drop.

    I too tried the peanut m&ms. Had half a bag. No effect on sugars. And they are divine!

    Yesterday, I broke my 14 hour fast by eating 2 greenish bananas and a handful of grapes. After 1 hour I was up to 11. After two hours I was down to 7 and remained between 5 and 7 for the rest of the day. Do temporary, short lived spikes matter? My non d partner

    I am convinced moderate acohol consumption, for me 2 glasses of red wine at night, is a good thing. It definitely reduces my bg and I have never noticed that it rises at a later time.

    Snickers bars. Slow carb, nuts, divine and no major effect on bs. Also chocolate raisins. Going to try the m&m choc peanuts. These are usually evening treats.
