Your not alone, I'm in the same place, was diagnosed 18 months ago, went on hflc diet n 3 stone but in the last month I've been on a food bender! Eating. Exactly what I know I shouldn't, I'm scared to weigh myself [emoji37]
Hi mossy, I'm type 2 also, my strips were stopped also. Felt like my safety net was pulled from under me, I was diagnosed in May, since then I've lost 2 1/2 stone, low carbing. Come off the rails at Christmas but now getting on again
Because of heart problems I my family and my cholesterol being 5.2 I was given statins to take, too much horror stories so I didn't. Hope my cholesterol goes down but if it doesn't I'm still not taking statins
All cereals spike me, so miss my porridge, I thought it was healthy but with my strange alien body it's bad!!! Bacon n egg, the old enemy is good, everything is upside down!!!
They are lovely toasted, and as I've said before, lay one flat, put your hand flat on top, take a sharp bread knife and carefully cut the very top off. I get four slices using this technique but go slow!
I was prescribed statins last week, there's too much bad publicity for there not to be some truth in it. My cholesterol is 5.2, history of bad hearts in both sides of my family, so confused and worried. I've lost 2 stone on hflc.
