T1 on pump having lots of pain from fibroids

Can anyone offer me any advice please. I started on the pump 3months ago and the change to my diabetes has been great, but the pain I'm suffering each month, at you know that time is becoming unbearable. I was diagnosed with fibroids and given the Mirena coil some three years ago and I had been...

    Criteria

Hiya, just a bit of advice from my own experience. I would at least try anything your dsn suggests, as they have to try all other avenues before pumping, understandable as the Nhs is struggling. Even if as you say testing injecting during the night is not a long term solution, you have to prove...

    Had A Rough Time.

Don't let the idiots grind you down hunni, diabetes is a life long battle as we all know, we simply try our best every day to deal with things that so called "normal" folks take for granted. You are doing the best you can, no one can expect any more. Big hug

Microlet Lancets Any Trouble Getting Them?

I know surely you don't need to be a brain surgeon to work out that 2x100 lancets is 200?? Good job I had my brain working though, if I'd just taken her word for it I'd be screwed!! Was wondering though, if there is maybe a cheaper alternative they were trying to push instead? Either way I'm...

CGM / Libre funding- who has it?

I think it is a very rare thing to obtain funding for cgm @azure. I'm so thankful to my team for pushing my case forward and getting the CCG to approve it, I do know how lucky I am [emoji4][emoji4]. Edited to add I'm in Warwickshire incase you need to know this donnellysdogs

CGM / Libre funding- who has it?

@donnellysdogs hope all goes well for you [emoji4] I don't have the lack of body fat issue, in fact quite the opposite ha ha, so can't comment on your experience. I would like to say though that I am still hopeful I will get my licence back, once on pump with low threshold suspend I will know...

CGM / Libre funding- who has it?

Hiya donnellysdogs I am about to start on the minimed 640g with the Enlite sensors totally funded by CCG. Should state though I have no hypo awareness and lost my driving licence 12months ago as a result, so the pump/cgm will greatly improve my quality of life.

Can my dog senses when my sugars are low or high??

I think dogs do sense or smell when we are low. An example being this morning one of my dogs woke me by coming up on the bed sitting on me, which isn't like him, I woke, felt OK, but when I checked by bs it was 1.9 (am hypo unaware) so I definitely think he had sensed I wasn't right, bless him...

    Hair loss help!!

I am using head and shoulders but only since my scalp became sore, as I thought this may ease the soreness, the pharmacist earlier advised only using head and shoulders twice per week and to use baby shampoo or simple shampoo in between. Nothing other has changed tbh, I started using tresiba...

    Hair loss help!!

My hair keeps falling out when I wash it. My scalp feels sore and very sensitive. And my hair is very brittle damaged and dry [emoji22] So I'm trying to establish possible causes. Anyone had similar experiences? Could tresiba cause hair to come out? Could a raise in lisinopril (1-2 tabs per...
