    Advice please!

I’m on 3000mg of metformin a day. I’m also on dapagliflozin. My hba1c is at 65. When I was first diagnosed it was at 48. I’m a terrible eater and it’s only my fault it’s so high. I just need inspiration and to know if anyone else has similar struggles and can offer advice. I had a heart attack...

    Happy!

I’ve struggled with my blood sugar and what to eat for years. Last year I buried my head in the sand and carried on eating whatever I wanted. Most times I tested my blood, it was above 15. For 6 days now I’ve been on the New You diet. It’s insane! My blood sugar is constantly between 4-5, and my...

    Dapagliflozin

I went and got a pill and cream from boots. They didn’t want to sell them to me but I said I can’t physically wait weeks for an appointment. It’s unbearable! I hope this does the trick! My fasting bs has gone from 12 to 7 so I don’t want to come off it, but it’s hard to spend most of your life...

    Heart attack.

They were taking my blood 3 times a day in hospital. I hope they didn’t miss anything. As far as I understand, this pill just makes you wee out excess sugar. The doc referred to it as a new diabetic wonder drug. I looked it up. I think it’s been out there since 2017

    Heart attack.

Managed to have a heart attack last week. Died a couple of times. Turns out the low carb high fat wasn’t the best idea for me. On the mend now. Will know if I need a defribulator fitted into my chest in 8 weeks. What was interesting though, is that after years of my bs always being around 12 in...

    Oops.

I’m not really eating carbs. Well, as few as possible. I’m having maybe eggs for breakfast. And meat a veg for dinner. Don’t usually do lunch. I’ve lost over a stone in the 6 weeks now

How are you getting on? Mine was 10 this morning, and it gets down to 8 during the day. Not as quick as I’d have liked. I’m just plodding away at it!

    Safety boots

I just bought dewalts challenger 3 and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. My work boots were killing my feet. These are like wearing slippers [emoji23] They are steel capped and also through the sole

Haha! Good advice about the guitar! Love a good riff [emoji23] I've never used a ketone metre as I didn't know what one is. I thought if you are in Ketosis, that's a good thing for weight loss? can it be dangerous as well?

    Oops.
