    Metformin side effects

    I don't know if it means anything but I have a long term liver disease - I was originally on Metformin but because of "potential" side effects (I actually never had any but the Docs computer flagged up a problem) I have been switched to Sitagliptin (Januvia) 2 x 100mg a day.
