    Thank you. I've seen the diet doctor thing and did LCHF which I find much easier in the summer months but will give a go again I think or certainly reduce carbs Massively in 2018. Pasta and jacket potatoes such a household staple! Thanks again

    What do people think of being prescribed 2 x 500mg of Metformin?     Sorry, still new ish to this. I think the NHS advice will change soon to LCHF for T2s. Had my 6 mthly check 2 weeks ago, and hba1c up from 48 to 51 (which I know isn't terrible) Dr offered me Metformin but I declined and we talked through LCHF. Weirdly she'd attended a seminar the night before...

    Yes, am thinking this is worth trying. My hba1c was 64 at diagnosis but 48 now. Tbh am off on holiday this week so will look into closer monitoring when back.
