    I can’t comment on anything T1 or the workings of the sensor as I’ve never used one and I maybe not at all right but could your dad be pulling at the sensor in his sleep? Maybe it’s irritating him and he’s fiddling with it unbeknown to him? Also totally agree with others about getting both POA...

    I used something like those years ago before T2 diabetes when I used to be on my feet at work 14 hr days - strangely they made me feel a bit queasy- a bit like mild seasickness. Never got away with them

    I was diagnosed T2 14 years ago whilst in hospital for something else, I’ve never seen a GP just the practice nurse. I have seen a GP a couple of times, once in the very early days when they took me off statins because my liver count went through the roof & once when my white blood cell count...

    From my recollection you can only re apply once you get the reminder - from what I remember you can’t apply for your next one until there is only 3 months left. A medical exemption cert covers a lot of conditions. A fair few that may not need life time exemption so I can’t see them issuing it...

    I think you do, it’s my recollection that I got a reminder about 3 months before, my hubby who has medical exemption since he was 22 for a different condition used to get reminders - both of us are over 60 now so no longer need them

    Mine 14 years ago was credit card sized card, the next 2 were plastic, my last one is still just in date but I’m of the age I no longer pay for scripts anyway
