    I did the same aged 19 and put myself in a diabetic coma and intensive care for 10 days. If you want some scare tactics tell her that! Happy to be put in touch with her if need be. X

    Because they assumed I got diabetes from eating to many sweets as a child and have seen me eat them on the rare occasion I'm hypo

    It didn't to start with I just took it on the chin but its just frustrating that there's so little awareness and they think it's okay to comment.

    Yeah that's a nice way of putting it. I'm trying not to snap at them cos I know they don't understand but I don't get why they comment if they don't understand.

    Humalog with meals and Lantus before bed. Normally around 2am I suppose I don't normally check the time haha!

    I do Lantus into my thigh every night. Have done for years. I just use a 0.8mm needle and pinch the skin. You may just bruise easily? I've never bruised from it but then again I very rarely do from anything xx

    Help! Recurring night hypo's

    I've been diabetice for 19 years. Last 2 weeks I've been hypo every night! Have dropped both insulin doses, tried high carb meals, bananas/cereals before bed etc all the usual. Assumed it was the cold weather but it's warmed up and still no change!!
